Breakfast is georgeous, WiFi is good, spa, tennis, indoor pool and gym facilities are nice. 20 minutes walking distance to Funchal centre.

Clean and comfortable room- very functional. The pools - there are two outside and one inside were a good size and rarely over busy. Little or no hogging of deck chairs. Great sun deck as well. Location was good but it’s a very steep walk down to the sea (and back up). The area around the hotel was great - lots of free “beaches” and pay for lidos with good access to the sea. Lot of very good restaurants nearby and a good bus service and local taxi rank.

Good location for us .2 nice pools plus an indoor one.Not too far to walk to the main centre.Friendly staff,good food ,nice room.Alinda who worked by the pool was lovely . Would stay again .

Staff were very attentive and helpful. Very impressed with the facilities -especially the heated indoor pool. Food quality was very good with plenty of choice of cooked food, salads, fresh fruit, desserts and freshly baked breads on the breakfast and evening buffet. We had booked bed and breakfast but also enjoyed three evening meals in the restaurant. Live entertainment at the terrace bar every evening was also good. As a senior with some limited mobility I welcomed the facilitiy to be able to use the buggy service up the hill.

Location is good ( little bit uphill though); in a tourist zone near public transport/ airport bus but also doable (lenghty) and pleasant walk to center and some options for food nearby. My room was comfortable and clean with balcony and nice view. Breakfast has very good choice of food. Indoor and outdoor pools were also nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was absolutely satisfied with the room, maybe the door banging when strong winds were blowing was the only drawback. There was no A/C in it, in February it was not a problem, don´t know if in the summer the room isn´t too warm. There was a TV, fridge, ceiling fan, haidryer in the bathroom, walk-in shower etc. toiletries provided. Breakfast was superb, so many oprions, some of them were changed every other day. Coffee not so trerrible as some peole write here. Served from 7.30 to 10.30 in 3 "shifts" (7.30-8.30, 8.30-9.30, 9.30-10.30). THe outdoor pool is not heated - of course, but I had a swim in there for 30-40 minutes each day of my stay. It is true that you have to walk a bit uphill, the road is quite steep, but nothing you wouldn´t be able to climb. If travelling on AEROBUS from the airport, get off at stop 15, if you travel from the centre take bus No. 4 as it stops just a few meters from the hotel complex. A lot of eateries and supermarkets in the surroundings. I didn´t find any members of the staff rude or unpleasant.

Breakfast was excellent ,the staff special Tatiana ( the mini )was very good a breath of fresh air The chambermaid who cleaned our room 201 from 9/08/23 to 30/08/23 a big Thank you the lady was was just great sorry don’t remember her name. On checked in the receptionist Sandra was very professional, the night Porter was very friendly and sorted my parking almost every night On behalf of my Family a big Thank You.
